Pierre Hamon has been the artistic director and co-organizer of the FISM World Championship of Magic in Quebec City in 2022.
He is also the president and founder of Productions Ô Marius Inc, a multimedia company in the Québec City area from 1992 to 2014. This company was transformed in 2008 to produce and broadcast magic shows.
He has been practicing magic professionally since 2007 and has presented more than 500 corporate or gala shows since then. He has also created several magic acts for different events and for other fellow magicians.
Mr. Hamon co-founded and co-produced, with Renée-Claude Auclair, the Québec City Magic Festival since 2011, in addition to acting as artistic director of the program. He also co-produces the Concours international de magie “Michel Cailloux” since 2013, the Sorcelleries de Québec in 2019, the Canadian Magic Championship in 2016, 2018 and 2021, the North American Magic Championship of the International Federation of Magic Societies in 2021, and finally the FISM World Magic Championship Québec 2022, a first in North America since its foundation in Switzerland in 1948.
He has written and directed several magic shows that have been presented at the Théâtre de la Bordée, the Vieux Bureau de Poste de Lévis, the Impérial de Québec, the Théâtre Petit Champlain and the Théâtre Le Périscope. Pierre Hamon is one of the few mentalists in Canada and the only one to create shows that combine theater and magic.
