Claude Bonnelly collected the award as chair of the national planning committee for the 2008 Event of the Year—the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions’ 74th World Library and Information Congress. Attendance at the Québec City Convention Centre came in at 3,800 and had local economic impacts of $8.8 million.
