Benoit Gosselin is currently a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Engineering at Université Laval. He also holds the Canada Research Chair in Wireless Microsystems for Brain-Computer Interfaces, Analog Integrated Circuits, Sensor Interface Circuits, Implantable Actuators, and Point-of-Care Diagnostic Microsystems. He has served on several international conference committees for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), notably BIOCAS, NEWCAS, EMBC, LSC and ISCAS. His team is actively involved in creating a bracelet to monitor the vital signs of COVID-19 patients in real time.

In 2022, Mr. Gosselin will organize NEWCAS, the 20th IEEE International New Circuits and Systems Conference.
