A hot spot for optics-photonics research, Québec City will be the site for five optics-photonics conferences in 2018 and 2019 that will attract some 1,700 researchers and experts from around the world.

These scientific events, which will be held at the Québec City Convention Centre, were secured because of the major involvement and recognized expertise of five researchers from University Laval’s Centre d’optique, photonique et laser (COPL) and members of the Québec City’s Ambassadors’ Club.
