Québec City will host the 7th International Symposium on Biomaterial Surfaces and Interfaces (ISSIB 2019) thanks to ambassador Diego Mantovani, a research professor from Université Laval’s Faculty of Science and Engineering, Director of the Biomaterials and Bioengineering Laboratory and holder of the Senior Canada Research Chair in Biomaterials and Bioengineering for Surgery Innovation (iBiomat). The ISSIB will be held in July 2019, assembling scientists, engineers, clinicians, regulatory bodies and medical device manufacturers from four continents.
