The Society for Molecular Biology (SMBE), one of the biggest scientific societies in the world, will hold its annual convention at the Québec City Convention Centre from June 28 to July 2, 2020. The researcher Christian Landry, associate professor at Université Laval’s Department of Biology, is the driving force behind the choice of Québec City to host the 2020 SMBE Conference, who is set to be one of the biggest the SMBE has ever held. Up to 1,500 attendees will meet in the capital during 4 days, thanks to this inspiring ambassador, renowned leader in molecular evolution and systems biology.
