Each year, the Event of the Year Award recognizes the efforts of a visionary ambassador behind a standout success in the Québec City region. In 2025, this honour goes to Nancy Robitaille, Vice-President, Transfusion Medicine at Héma-Québec, for organizing the 15th International Donor Registry Conference & Cell Therapy Transplant Canada. The conference was held at the Québec City Convention Centre in May 2025.
Ms. Robitaille and her team not only advanced discussions in cell therapy, but also contributed to generating nearly $1 million in tourism-related economic impact for Québec City.
