Dr. Élodie Boisselier is a regular researcher on regenerative medicine and an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine at Université Laval. Ms. Boisselier joined the ophthalmology department as an assistant professor in 2014. She holds three patents and has more than 20 publications to her credit, which have been cited over 2,600 times. Her team works on several research themes related to the field of ophthalmology. One of these collaborative projects uses gold nanoparticles to design probes to detect neurotransmitters, especially those that are imbalanced in ocular pathologies.
In 2022, she and her colleague Marc-André Fortin will be responsible for organizing the Gold 2022 Conference in Quebec City, an event for gold-based technologies that will bring together nearly 500 specialists.
